When I first started Pinterest, I was literally on a Pinterest high and I knew it wouldn’t be long before I got my next fix. Since then, many others have followed and I'm sorry, but I hear there is absolutely no cure. All of us Pinterest addicts imagine we'll make a wreath out of who knows what, furnish our dream home, cook all the healthy recipes we can find, sew every cute little thing we see and fit into all the cute outfits we have pinned. I realize most of this is not gonna happen but it's our Fantasy, and it’s great! I have made a list of all the things I can and will try. Whether it’s cooking, organizing my unorganized home, trying a new hairstyle, trying all the fun homeschool ideas and many more awesome things, I'm gonna try it!
My first sewing project I wanted to try was this beautiful, pleated t-shirt dress. Now it has been a while since I sewed anything, so I am very thankful that my mom, aka: grandma, lives right next door. She helped out a lot! She actually did most of the sewing. I am a visual learner so we cut everything out together and then I watched her work her magic! We think it turned out great.Katie loved it so that's all that counts, right! Next on my list: adorable skirts for my girls!
